Sukkot VI is annually celebrated on the 20th day of the seventh month of Tishrei in the Jewish calendar. It is one of the three pilgrimage festivals in Israel. This event is celebrated in some other countries like Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United Staes.


Another name for Sukkot is  Festivals of Tabernacles, Festivals of Ingathering and Festivals of Booths. This day is not a public holiday. So all the schools, colleges, government, businesses, and banks remain open on this day.


 Sukkot VI is a joyous celebration and an agricultural festival meant to thank God for a successful harvest. Sukkot is celebrated as special prayer services, meals and happy times spent with friends and family, On this day, there is no work in sabbath that shows reverence to god. An etrog is a citron, a lemon-like fruit grown in Israel.
